Today, the world of music feels a little darker.
Ozzy Osbourne—the godfather of heavy metal, the voice of rebellion, and the icon who shaped generations of music lovers—has passed. It's hard to put into words what he meant to heavy metal, to fans, and to culture itself. For many of us, Ozzy wasn't just a musician. He was a myth, a movement, a moment in time we’ll never forget.
I was lucky enough to meet him when I was just 13 or 14 years old, backstage at the legendary Fox Theater in St. Louis, Missouri. Even then, as a young fan, I knew I was in the presence of someone special. Ozzy had this larger-than-life energy, yet he treated fans with an unexpected warmth. I went on to see him several more times in my youth throughout the '90s, each show leaving a permanent mark on my soul. He was the show. The voice. The thunder.
As the frontman of Black Sabbath and as a solo artist, Ozzy didn’t just push boundaries—he obliterated them. He gave metal its haunting poetry, its menace, and its soul. From the doomy riffs of “Iron Man” to the wild cry of “Crazy Train,” his music told us it was okay to be outsiders, to be loud, and to live life on our own terms.
The world will miss him deeply. I know I do.
To honor his memory, I created a piece that captures a bit of that Ozzy spirit—raw, layered, and unmistakably bold. The 3-D Layered Ozzy Wooden Art is a tribute to the icon himself, made for fans who want something more than a t-shirt or a poster—something truly one-of-a-kind. It’s not mass-produced, it’s not generic. It’s a piece of art that lets you carry his energy with you and keep his legacy alive.
Whether you grew up on Sabbath or found Ozzy through his solo work, we all felt that same jolt—the magic only he could bring. So today, let’s turn up the volume, light a candle, and scream into the sky.
Rest in power, Ozzy. Long live the Prince of Darkness.
